The Castleton Cottage

This gorgeous painting is of a beautiful home nestled in a valley in Castleton, Derbyshire. Painted with permission from a photo of Paul Smith on Instagram, I had to study this scene well as I haven’t been there myself. It’s on my list of places to visit though! 

Painted on Arches 100% cotton paper with Mijello professional paints, this 30x30 cm watercolour is so special and has so many features to admire and cherish, from the lamppost to the chimneys, the flowing brook, the cliff…well, I could go on!!

It’s framed in a gorgeous blue grey 40x40 cm frame. This dimension is of its internal opening, so depending on the width of the frame, it will be slightly bigger. Please email me at pradeepa@limewoodart.com if you have any questions.
