Winter Robin - Original Watercolour Painting

Let me tell you how this gorgeous painting came about…

We have a resident Robin in our garden and every spring he raises his family. I decided he needed to feature in a painting that was all about him. Painting him in December meant putting him in a snowy wintery scene. Still, I couldn’t resist putting some nest-building material in his beak. That for me is a symbol of hope! The seasons will surely change!
