Rhododendrons Under The Sun- Original Watercolour Painting

Well, what can I say?! Arguably one of my best paintings ever!!

It’s based on a photo I took on a Southampton road, I’ve actually painted many a flower photographed on the stunning front gardens on this road!

Delicate, but bold, showcasing the light perfectly! Here watercolour was able to play to it’s strengths and showcase these gorgeous flowers in all their glory!

Elevating ordinary flowers and making people stop and wonder at their beauty has been one of my aims and I hope this makes you see rhododendrons in a new light!!!! 

Details: painting is 6x8 inches, it will come in a white/cream mount, in a beautiful oak finish 10x12 inch frame. Painted on professional watercolour paper, with high quality artist
