Cherry Blossoms - Original Watercolour Painting

A constant reminder of spring and new beginnings!

I was once sitting in my car waiting for my daughter, when I noticed these cherry blossoms in front of me, waving gently in the breeze. They seemed like cottony, gorgeous masses of pink and that is what I’ve tried to capture here.

This 9 by 12 inch painting is on cold pressed 300gsm Arches paper mounted/stuck on a cradled wooden panel (see images for more information). It has been coated with UV spray and then waxed to preserve the texture of the watercolour paper, so it’s waterproof and can be hung like a canvas by itself or put in a tray frame.

Always hang original paintings away from direct sunlight! This painting will come ready to hang. If you would like a frame around it, please message me before/after purchase and I can frame it for you for an extra fee.
