By The River - original watercolour painting- 4x6 inches

I saw these Knapweed on the side of the Thames in Oxfordshire in summer. And they were a firm bee favourite too. Apparently butterflies love them too, but I didn’t see any on the day. That’s why there’s a blue background to represent the river as the backdrop. I loved painting the Knapweed flowers on top of the gorgeous background created by the watercolour!
