A PEACE OF SPRING

This painting has a really special place in my heart.

Although initially painted as a 9 x 12” painting I felt the cutting it down to an A4 size brought the spring crocus out so much better. The outer edge of the mount is 12 x 16” just to give you an idea of the size.

I increasingly love bringing out the light in my florals and this gorgeous spring scene is a good leap forward in that direction.

The title is also intentional as I do want this painting to bring not just eternal spring vibes, but also peace in the home where it hangs.
